About

Kristin Freeman has always had a fascination and appreciation for the female figure and portrait. Each and every woman is naturally beautiful in her own way. With just one look, the eyes of a woman have so much to say, without her saying anything at all.

Kristin designs fabric patterns utilizing bold shapes and colors, which are used as backgrounds for her paintings. She is intrigued by the contrast between elaborate fabric patterns against the stylized shapes of the painted figure, creating a visual language to express the emotions of her subjects. A student of traditional fine art, crafting, and graphic design, Kristin possesses a unique ability to meld these into an art form that is both fun and thought-provoking.

Kristin’s studio is located at Pump Project Art Complex in Austin, Texas.

Please note that Kristin has Original Paintings available as well as prints.
